About Melt Blown Process

Melt Blowing is one of the effective technologies to produce Non-Woven Fabric. It is a single-step fabrication process transforms thermoplastic raw material to randomly-laid web structure with ultra-fine fibers in micro and nano scale. And, its substantial benefits are including simplicity, high specific productivity and solvent-free operation.

During Melt Blowing process, the thermoplastic melt is extruded through small nozzles surrounded by high-velocity air. This process makes individual filament with diameter less than 10 micrometers(µm). And then, filaments create a randomly-laid fiber web structure through dry-laid process. The randomly deposited ultra-fine fibers construct a nonwoven sheet and provide excellent dust obstruction, heat insulation and oil absorption features.
