Environmental Sustainability Management
Environmental Policy and Framework
Bright Sheland adheres to the philosophy of environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility. In compliance with environmental regulations such as the Air Pollution Control Act, Waste Disposal Act, and Energy Management Act, we have implemented the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. We continuously build and refine our environmental management systems, systematically promoting energy conservation, green procurement, and waste reduction to create a safe, healthy, and eco-friendly operating environment.
The EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Department is responsible for coordinating environmental management initiatives. Based on the ISO 14001 framework, we regularly review environmental targets and legal compliance. Through training and internal advocacy, we enhance employees' awareness of energy conservation and environmental protection, integrating sustainability into our daily operations.

The implementation status for 2025 is as follows:
| Management Area | Detailed Implementation |
|---|---|
| I. Energy Management | We continue to promote energy-saving measures, including the installation of rooftop solar power systems, the phased replacement of lighting with high-efficiency LED fixtures, and the introduction of energy-saving equipment. During lunch breaks, a "lights-off" policy is implemented. Office air conditioning is standardized at 26–28°C to effectively reduce energy consumption while maintaining comfort and health. |
| II. Digitalization & Paperless | We have introduced online approval and digital management systems to reduce the use of paper documents. By utilizing cloud data management mechanisms, we reduce the need for physical document storage, thereby improving operational efficiency and achieving a low-carbon office environment. |
| III. Waste Management | Resource recycling facilities are set up in office areas to ensure the classified recycling of paper, plastic, and metal. We entrust certified contractors to handle waste equipment disposal, ensuring that all operations strictly comply with legal and regulatory requirements. |
| IV. Green Procurement | Preference is given to products and equipment with Eco-labels or Energy-saving labels, including office equipment, consumables, and cleaning supplies. Through these procurement decisions, we encourage our supply chain to move toward an environmentally friendly direction. |
